Ronaldo has ruled himself out of playing at the World Cup with Brazil.
The former Milan, Real Madrid, Inter, Barcelona and PSV striker has struck
his name off the possible list of candidates.
Despite widespread calls in Brazil to see the 'Fenomeno' have one last fling
at winning the trophy again, he says a trip to South Africa is unlikely.
"I don't deserve the national team. This is evident and obvious," he told
Lancenet.com.br.
However, Ronaldo says he is available if required.
"I continue to be available because Brazil is my country and I would be
proud to defend it."
He has often come under scrutiny this season for not being in peak condition. |
