Ronaldo does not believe that sacking Bernd Schuster would solve Real Madrid’s
problems.
When Ronaldo was in Morocco this Monday to participate in the Match Against
Poverty, he talked to the Spanish TV channel Cuatro, which wanted to know, if
the former Real Madrid striker thought that sacking the current coach of the
club Bernd Schuster would be the right way to solve the problems in the club.
“I think the problem is something else,” Ronaldo said. “I don’t think the coach
is the problem. When things are going wrong, people are always looking for the
guilty. I think you have to look at a wider aspect,” Ronaldo said.
Real Madrid is currently only in fourth position in the Primera División, five
points behind league leaders Barcelona.
“Real Madrid has got a great team and a great squad. There are a lot of former
teammates to me and a lot of good players,” he said to Cuatro.
Ronaldo left Real Madrid almost two years ago after four and a half years in the
Spanish capital. |
