Milan's Brazilian striker Ronaldo arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Friday to
seek advice on a muscle injury from Brazil doctor Jose Luiz Runco and
the player's personal physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti. "Ronaldo wants an
opinion from those he trusts most, in this case me and Runco. We believe
the treatment he got at Milan was not the most appropriate. That is why
he came to Brazil, to receive treatment for the muscle injury in his
left thigh which he suffered in the pre- season," Mazziotti said, in
comments quoted by sports news website GloboEsporte.
Previously, Ronaldo had consulted Belgian doctor Marc Martens, who
confirmed Milan's diagnosis and indicated he is recovering well.
Ronaldo intends to remain in Brazil "at least" a week, the report said. |
