The squad divided into two groups for
training, with the players who will expect to play in Athens practising
corner-kicks and various situations that may arise in the game
MILANELLO - The squad was back training this morning on a bright and sunny day
at Milanello. The families of the players were also present and a number of fans
turned up to greet the players on their arrival. After a brief team talk from
Carlo Ancelotti, the team divided into two groups.
The players who were involved in the game with Udinese on Saturday evening went
through a series of stretches and runs. The players who will be expected to play
in Athens played a one-touch game and then went through a series of corner-kick
routines to simulate what may happen in the game on Wednesday. The goalkeepers
trained apart.
The squad will train on Monday morning at 11.30am CET and then leave for Athens
at 3pm CET.
