Ronaldo played 7 matches against Mallorca
Mallorca, all since he joined Real. On December 8, 2002 at Son Moix,
Real largely defeated the hosting team (1-5), with two goals by Ronaldo,
two by Raúl and one by Guti (Eto'o scored the temporary draw for the
Balearians). On January 23 2003, during the Copa del Rey's quarter-
finals (first leg) Real and Mallorca drew 1-1 at Bernabeu, scoring
Portillo and Nadal. On May 3, 2003 Ronaldo scored the first goal in the
match against Mallorca, but the Balearians overcame and defeated Real at
home with another 1-5, the same scoring of the first match played in
Mallorca.
During his second season with Real, Ronnie played both matches for the
Spanish Supercup agains Mallorca: on August 24 he lost 2-1 in the match
played at Son Moix, but three days later Real won 3 to nil at Santiago
Bernabeu, and Ronnie scored the second hit. On December 21, 2003, Real
Madrid won at Son Moix (1- 3). Correa unbalanced the scoring for the
hosting team, but Raúl, Ronaldo, and Figo secured the victory for the
merengues. Finally on the 8th of May 2004 Real was defeated by the
Balearians (2-3) at Bernabeu, in a match featuring no goals by Ronaldo. |
