The
Spanish league celebrated its final act. Should we trace a
balance, Real Madrid unfortunately secured just one trophy
this year, the Spain’s Super Cup. The merengues were
eliminated in the Champions League’s quarter-finals, lost in
the Spanish Copa del Rey and finished in the fourth place in
the league. Although at a team level, the final balance is
worse than last year, at an individual level Ronaldo was the
Spanish league’s top scorer, with a huge advantage from his
rivals. The Brazilian bomber scored 24 goals, 21 by foot, 2
by head and 1 penalty. It’s his second Pichichi title in
three years.
