Breaking the history

For
20 years Real Madrid CF did not violate Camp Nou and win his top rival, Barça.
Historically, the merengues could not play their best football at Camp Nou,
mostly due to the hostile setting. Barça too have no good time visiting
Bernabeu. These are extreme clashes, where home fans support non-stop their
team.
But
Ronaldo stopped this negative tradition. His goal meant the final verdict, after
that Roberto Carlos had opened the scoring. Almost useless Kluivert’s goal, who
reduced the gap. Real Madrid CF hold the League's leadership and exhibit their
potential, violating a very tough field.
On top of the League
Positive streak
After the loss suffered in Seville, this month Real
Madrid CF conquered 10 of the potential 12 points, resulting from 3 wins,
Albacete, At.Madrid and Barcelona and drawing with Osasuna. The meringues are
solitary leading the Spanish League with 33 points in 15 round-ups, followed by
Depor and Valencia.
Conquering Pichichi
12th in the League
Ronaldo scored in Barcelona his twelth goal, which
along the three hits scored in the Champions League and one in the Spanish Super
Cup make so far 16 hits in the current 2003-04 season. With 15 minutes to play
in a fast counter-attack he received an assist by Roberto Carlos, handled the
ball and unleashed a low right-foot shot. The ball passed Víctor Valdès, lightly
touched by Cocu.
