His debut, half a century ago

Next 23th of September 2003 will be a historical
date for Real. In that date Real Madrid CF decided to celebrate at Madrid's
Coliseum a special tasty Santiago Bernabeu trophy. On the 23th of September 2003
it will be exactly 50 years since Alfredo Di Stefano’s debut with the “merengues”,
playing in a friendly match against Nancy (France), and scoring his first goal
ever as a Madrid player. In order to secure greater importance to the event, the
team invited for the event could be River Plate, precisely the team which the
“Blond Flash” was coming from. For Real and their universe, it twill be much
more than a simple event and a friendly match. It will be, in fact, a historical
data to celebrate the triumphs of a worldwide football myth, currently Club’s
honorary President.
