Perez Insists Real's Summer
Spending Is Over
|
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted the club have concluded
their transfer activity for the summer.
Perez also confirmed that the Spanish champions were pulling out of the running
for Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, which leaves Manchester United as the only
realistic destination for the 23-year-old.
Real concluded the signing of Argentine international defender Gabriel Milito
yesterday and have also signed England captain David Beckham this summer.
"The business of buying new players has now been closed and that's for sure,"
confirmed Perez.
"Milito's signing means that Ronaldinho will not be coming to Real Madrid this
year."
